I lowered the forks to 70mm and when I put them back together and the right seal leaked everywhere, I'm going to put new seals in but I still have no clue how much oil to put in.

Hi, messaged you a week or so back about fork lowering. I've got them apart and am wondering whether to replace the seals while I've got them in bits. How do you know if they need replacing? I had a problem with them losing a bit of air before, would that be the seals?

Ahh excellent!
Right, firstly, would you recommend cutting the springs if I'm going from 100mm to 65mm travel?
Secondly, because Marzocchi don't make 65mm forks I can't find any information on oil levels for that length travel, is there any way to calculate the right amount? (eg. ratios between oil level and travel length?
I haven't started on them yet and It seems that I pretty much just need to take them apart to see for myself whats really inside, if I get stuck at all I might give youa shout!
Thanks. Joe.
